Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer. Integrated Systems Events, LLC of Fairfax, Virginia, USA, (“ISE LLC” or “we”), the organizer of Integrated Systems Europe 2025 (“Event”), offers you as registered attendee of the Event (“you”) to participate in a Treasure Hunt (“Campaign”) where you will be able to win a prize if you visit a certain number of exhibitors and have your visits to the exhibitors validated, as described in detail below.

3. Eligibility. You may register for the Campaign only if (i) you are registered for the Event and for the ISE 2025 App (“App”), (ii) you are at least 18 years old, (iii) you are neither an employee of ISE LLC or its subsidiaries, of an exhibitor at the Event, of Fira Internacional de Barcelona or any of its affiliates nor the spouse or descendant of such employee and (iv) you have not participated directly or indirectly in the organization of the Campaign.
4. Registration. If you want to participate, you will need to register for the Campaign using the App (go to ‘Scan Me Treasure Hunt’). If you attempt to register more than once, you will lose your eligibility for a prize. It is your responsibility to register early enough to be able to complete the task (described at section 6 below) and receive proof of validation (see section 7 below) in time to receive a reward or a prize (see sections 8 and 9 below). If we accept the registration, a service agreement incorporating the present Terms and Conditions between you and us will be deemed made (the “Service Agreement”).
5. Identification. You agree to carry your government-issued photo identification in the form of a passport or EU national ID card with you at all times during the Campaign. You will be required to show such identification upon request. You are responsible for providing accurate personal data while registering for the event.
6. Task. Once you have registered, the App will prompt you to visit a certain number of exhibitors at the Event and obtain proof of such visits by scanning certain QR codes at the stands of the respective exhibitors. All such visits should be made taking into account the opening hours of the Treasure Hunt Prize Counter in Hall 8.1 (see section 8 below) and the deadlines for participation in the draws in the Robotics and Drone Arena (see section 9 below).
7. Validation: If you have completed your visits, go to the Treasure Hunt Office indicated in the App to validate the proof of your visits to the exhibitors and receive proof of validation to obtain a reward and/or participate in the prize draws (“Token”).
8. Rewards. If you have your Token, you may pick up a reward (such as a coffee mug, a chocolate bar or a teddy bear) if you personally come to the Treasure Hunt Prize Counter in Hall 8.1 on Tuesday, 4 February 2025, between 12:00 and 18:00 CET, Wednesday, 5 February 2025, 10:00 to 18:00 CET, Thursday, 6 February 2025, 10:00 to 18:00 CET or Friday, 7 February 2025, 10:00 to 15:00 CET. The number of rewards is limited. The rewards will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis, until the stock is exhausted.
9. Draws. In addition, if you receive your Token before Wednesday, 5 February 2025, 12:00 CET, you will be eligible for a prize that will be drawn on Wednesday, 5 February 2025 at 14:00 CET in the Robotics and Drone Arena in Hall 8.1.

If you receive your Token later but before Friday, 7 February 2025, 12:00 CET, you will be eligible for another prize that will be drawn on Friday, 7 February 2025, at 14:00 CET in the Robotics and Drone Arena in Hall 8.1.

You will be eligible for a prize only (i) if you are physically present and present your Token at the draw and (ii) have complied with this Service Agreement. If you win a prize, your name will be called out and shown on a screen. You then have ten seconds to pick up the prize. If you do not pick up the prize within ten seconds, you will not receive it; and the draw will be repeated.

10. Cancellation of the Campaign. We reserve the right to cancel the Campaign (i) if required for reasons beyond our reasonable control and/or (ii) if we determine in our reasonable discretion that holding or continuing the Campaign would constitute an unreasonable risk for any individuals.
11. No Assignment: You may not assign the rights under the Service Agreement to any third party.
12. Applicable Law and Disputes. This Service Agreement is governed by Spanish law. Any disputes under or in connection with the Service Agreement will exclusively be submitted to the courts of Barcelona.

Privacy Statement

[Insert Box] I, the participating attendee, would like to participate in the Campaign. By clicking this box, I consent to this Privacy Statement, to the Terms and Conditions of the Treasure Hunt, and to the transfer of my personal data identified at Sec. 5 below to participating exhibitors.

1. Right to Revoke Consent. I understand that I may revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by notifying Integrated Systems Events, LLC (“you”, contact data provided in Section 2 of the ISE 2025 Treasure Hunt Terms and Conditions, above).
2. Details of Processing. I understand that this Privacy Statement contains important details on the scope and the legal bases of the processing of my personal data (specifically on the risks for the protection of personal data associated with a third-country transfer).
3. Name and Address of the Controller. You, Integrated Systems Events, LLC, are the Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other national data protection laws of the Member States of the European Union as well as other data protection provisions.
4. Scope and Legal Bases of Data Processing for the Purpose of Participation in the Campaign. By accepting my registration, you will enter into the Service Agreement (as defined above) with me and you will use my personal data to enter into, manage and implement the Campaign as per Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b of the GDPR.
5. Scope and Legal Bases of Data Processing for the Purpose of Receiving Marketing Information. If I participate in the Campaign, the participating exhibitors will receive

• my full name,
• my email address and
• the date and time of my visit

for the purpose of providing me with industry-specific newsletters and other marketing information, but only if I expressly consent to such transfer by ticking the consent box provided above. I acknowledge that by giving my consent, I also consent that you transfer my personal data specified above to exhibitors who are resident outside of the European Union. There are a number of theoretical risks for my personal data associated with the transfer of data to recipients resident outside of the European Union, notably possible access to my personal data by foreign authorities and ineffective legal protection for citizens of Member States of the European Union against such access. The legal basis for the transfer of my personal data identified in this Sec. 5 in connection with the provision of newsletters and marketing information is exclusively my consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

6. Data Deletion and Storage Period. My personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. The data may be stored for longer if this is permitted by applicable legislation or standards. Data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by applicable legislation or standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.
7. My Rights. I acknowledge that I have the right:
   1. To obtain access and information under the terms of Article 15 of the of the GDPR;
   2. To demand rectification under the terms of Article 16 of the GDPR;
   3. To erasure (“right to be forgotten”) under the terms of. Article 17 of the GDPR;
   4. To restriction of processing under the terms of Article 18 of the GDPR;
   5. To data portability under the terms of Article 20 of the GDPR;
   6. To object under the terms of Article 21 of the GDPR;
   7. To withdraw my consent at any time, provided that the withdrawal of my consent does not affect the legitimacy of the processing that occurred based on my consent before the withdrawal; and
   8. To lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under the terms of Article 77 of the GDPR.
8. Updating the Privacy Policy. You may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to legal, technical or business developments. The date of the most recent update is 12 December 2024.
